For six months, only 22% of entrepreneurs correctly submitted all the documents required for payment of the single tax payment (STP). This comes from the Blank business bank survey, the results of which were received by socialbites.ca.
According to the bank, 78 percent of businessmen did not submit tax declarations and applications for payment of Unified Tax, but also paid their taxes on time. 55% of them do not know how to do accounting within the framework of EPP, and 21% do not know how to send reports correctly. 16% confused the dates and made a mistake when filling in. 8% submitted a report, but the tax office refused to accept the document for one reason or another.
“The EPP, which was introduced in 2023, has complex reporting rules for entrepreneurs. In this case, the tax is considered paid only when the inspection receives all documents. Until 2023, entrepreneurs had to fill out and pay at least 4 types of payments: taxes, health insurance contributions, mandatory and variable parts of pension insurance contributions. The function of reporting the calculated tax amount was carried out by payment order. Starting this year, all payments, along with notifications and applications, must be sent to a single account.
The survey was conducted in September 2023 among 2,500 entrepreneurs from 45 regions of Russia using a simplified tax system.
