The European Commission (EC) has decided not to extend the embargo on grain supplies from Ukraine, which will expire at midnight on Friday, the press service reported. E.C..
The document states that the EC analyzed data on the impact of exports of four categories of agricultural products on the EU market.
“As a result, it was decided to end the current measures today. “The European Commission will refrain from imposing any restrictions as long as effective measures are available and fully operational for Ukraine,” the statement said.
It is emphasized that Ukraine has promised the EU to take measures to prevent increases in grain supplies and to submit an action plan by September 18.
