Britain’s National Crime Agency has closed its investigation into alleged sanctions evasion against Russian businessman Mikhail Fridman. This was reported by Bloomberg.
5 September Security Service of Ukraine presented Russian businessman Mikhail Fridman is accused of financing the Russian special operation. According to the SBU, Fridman has allegedly invested nearly two billion rubles in several Russian military factories since February 24 last year. The businessman is also suspected of distributing food, clothing and other goods to military personnel of the Russian Armed Forces. In addition, Ukrainian special services believe that insurance companies took over military equipment, life and health insurance of Russian soldiers at the front.
11 August USA contributed Mikhail Fridman, founder of Alfa Bank, and Pyotr Aven, another major shareholder of Alfa Bank, were added to the sanctions lists.
