Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will discuss the conditions for resuming the grain agreement with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres. This was reported by TASS According to information provided by a diplomatic source in Ankara.

According to the agency, the meeting could take place within the framework of the world organization’s high-level General Assembly week.

“The UN Secretary-General said he plans to hold talks on the grain issue, including with Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan,” the source said.

He added that Erdogan had previously talked about meeting the conditions for resuming the grain agreement, as well as continuing to work with the UN. Ankara also plans to ask the UN to finalize and state the proposal to Moscow in the context of the grain agreement.
