In connection with these conditions, it was proposed to give the Russian government the right to determine the maximum permissible retail prices for gasoline, diesel fuel, straight gasoline, benzene, paraxylene, orthoxylene, aviation kerosene for a period of not more than 90 days. and middle distillates.
Sergei Mironov, leader of the “Just Russia – For Truth” group, the author of the bill, said that there is a clear trend on the world market that prices will increase regardless of a decrease or increase in oil prices. Mironov expressed the opinion that the proposed measures develop legal provisions providing for state regulation of prices in relation to certain types of goods and introducing reasonable restrictions in relation to the most socially important types.
