Sber’s online lending portfolio to medium and large-sized businesses using artificial intelligence has exceeded 1 trillion rubles. Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sberbank Anatoly Popov spoke about this at the VIII Eastern Economic Forum.
“Sber’s portfolio of loans to medium and large-sized businesses issued online using artificial intelligence has more than doubled since the beginning of the year, exceeding 1 trillion rubles. The number of online offers for loans and guarantees in these segments has increased by 1.6 times since the beginning of the year, to 22 thousand, Popov said.
He noted that digitalization of the loan process significantly simplifies and accelerates the receipt of financing for entrepreneurs.
“Continuous development and adaptation of artificial intelligence models, expansion of the product line and increase in the customer base allow Sber to provide online loans to customers of both large and medium-sized enterprises and small businesses,” Popov added.
