Ruslan Davydov, acting head of the Russian Federal Customs Service (FCS), said that the share of the ruble in Russian export payments has already exceeded 50 percent. RIA News.

“The share of the ruble in our trade turnover structure is, of course, increasing very strongly. For example, payments in rubles for exports have already exceeded half,” Davydov said at the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF).

According to him, payments on imports are still made mainly in “hostile” currencies, and in general, in the foreign trade turnover of the Russian Federation, payments in rubles already account for more than a third.

Formerly Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation offered Approval of the draft protocol on the calculation of import duties in rubles in the EAEU countries.
