Russian President’s Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov said that the Russian Federation’s conditions regarding the grain agreement are well known and there is no need for comment.
According to the Kremlin representative, the conditions specified by Moscow are possible.
As Peskov noted, Vladimir Putin has repeatedly stated the conditions that must be met to restore the grain agreement.
“They agreed. Now it is said that the Westerners are ready to promise to open SWIFT for a subsidiary of Selkhozbank. But the agreements say that SWIFT should be open to Rosselkhozbank, not its subsidiary.” Peskov emphasized.
He explained that it was necessary to return to the agreements discussed at the beginning.
“We consider ourselves justified because so many promises have been made, we consider ourselves obliged to first wait for this fulfillment and then restart this agreement,” Peskov said.
Previously President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan persistently The G20 will fulfill Russia’s demands for the continuation of the grain agreement. The Turkish side requested that Russia be reconnected to the SWIFT system so that international payments can be made.
The last ship in the previous grain agreement left Black Sea.
