The Ministry of Economy did not specify how many companies are currently registered in the SAR. According to Izvestia, 268 organizations operate here.
The press service of the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation told the newspaper that 62 companies registered on Russky Island are international. Also this year, 45 organizations completed the re-registration of a company from a foreign country to the Russian Federation; 80% of these came from the Republic of Cyprus and 13% from the British Virgin Islands.
