Total accumulated gas reserves in the European Union in August reached a historic maximum for this month; storage facilities are 92.8% full. This has been reported TASS.
At the same time, it was noted that the rate of gas injection into underground storage facilities (UGS) in Europe in August fell to the minimum level since 2011.
It was also noted that Gazprom supplies 42.4 million cubic meters of gas per day to European countries in transit via Ukraine through the Sudzha gas measurement station (GIS). It is reported that the application for pumping through the GIS “Sohranivka” was rejected.
31 August reportedIt was stated that due to the low temperatures in the region and the weak wind generation, Germany and EU countries started to use gas from underground storage facilities. It was noted that gas reserves obtained from underground gases decreased by 0.09 points to 93.85%. At the same time, it is reported that in the first days of April in Austria, the amount of gas consumption exceeded the injection level. UGS facilities in Europe are currently 92.7% full and contain approximately 101.91 billion cubic meters of gas.
