It was noted that the tax on barley will decrease to 431.8 rubles per ton, compared to 860.3 rubles previously, and the tax on maize will decrease to 1,932 thousand rubles against 2,495 thousand rubles per ton.

For Egypt, this rate will decrease from 1,214,4 rubles. Up to 1,189.6 RUB per tonne (minus 24.8 rubles). The tax on barley will remain zero.
The variable tax mechanism for exports of wheat, maize and barley outside the EAEU was launched in Russia on June 2, 2021. It replaced the fixed rates applied in grain exports abroad. The aim of the measure is to prevent the increase in the prices of socially important products such as bread, flour and sunflower oil. Since July last year, the calculation of these taxes has been converted into rubles.
The Ministry of Agriculture determines the size of the variable tax for a week. The task is calculated on the basis of the indicative price according to data on contracts signed on the Moscow Stock Exchange.
