Syzran Refinery, part of the Rosneft refinery complex, has put into operation an automobile weighing complex. This was reported on the Rosneft website.
It is assumed that the digital equipment will improve the weighing accuracy of materials from 200 kg to 60 tons entering the facility as well as the petroleum products being shipped.
The company announced that the project was implemented as part of the Rosneft-2030 strategy. It was also noted that all equipment of the weighing complex based on microprocessor technology was supplied by domestic manufacturers.
“Weighing while the vehicle is in motion allows you to increase efficiency and shorten the shipping time. Thanks to the video recording system, the weighing results are transmitted to the server for rapid calculation of the mass of goods. Traffic control, high level of road safety, with the help of the vehicle’s position tracking system and traffic lights and barriers provides.
It is assumed that the equipment and engineering solutions used ensure compliance with all modern environmental safety standards. The automobile weighing complex passed all the necessary tests, to ensure the uniformity of measurements, information about the system was included in the Federal Information Fund.
