Tehran, Ashgabat discuss to simplify cargo transport scheme

Iran’s Ambassador to Turkmenistan, Gholam Abbas Arbab Khales, said that Tehran agreed with Ashgabat to continue work on reducing tariffs and simplifying the procedure for cargo transportation between countries. It has been reported TASS.

According to him, at the moment the parties are negotiating, which has given a good result. He added that Tehran has lowered transit tariffs to increase transit through the two states to third countries.

“We are negotiating to solve the different legislation and customs procedures of our countries,” the diplomat said.

He added that Tehran is also conducting similar negotiations with Uzbekistan.
