The share of Russian equipment in the oil and gas industry could reach 65% by the end of 2023. In this respect declaration Denis Manturov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, at the meeting of the industrial coordination council, which took place during a study trip to Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug (KhMAO) – Yugra.
“We have decided to establish a coordination council on the import substitution of oil and gas equipment at the government site. Manturov said that representatives of the relevant federal executive authorities, manufacturers and customers of equipment will meet.
According to him, since 2014, Russian enterprises have created 140 types of import-substituted products. It has since increased from 43% to 62% for domestic equipment.
He added that regions of the country will be more actively involved in import substitution issues. In addition, all companies in Russia can switch to the standards of the Institute of Oil and Gas Technology Enterprises (INTI). As a result, organizations will be able to work more effectively with producers and access to tenders will be facilitated.
