Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko said at a meeting of the chairmanship of the government commission on tourism development that large federal year-round resorts will appear on the shores of five seas in Russia. In this respect writer newspaper “Vedomosti”.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister, the new resorts will appear on the shores of the Azov, Black, Japanese, Baltic and Caspian seas.
Chernyshenko reminded on behalf of the President that by 2030 it is necessary to create year-round resorts designed to host at least 10 million tourists each year. According to the Deputy Prime Minister, at least 44,000 hotel rooms are planned to be created.
Chernyshenko said that the opening of new resorts will contribute to the fulfillment of the tasks of the national project of the Tourism and Hospitality Industry. The most important indicator of this project is that the number of domestic tourist trips in Russia will increase to 140 million by 2030.
