He added that Hungary will support the “EU solidarity corridor” thanks to the entry of Ukrainian grain into overland markets.
“However, this corridor did not meet our expectations and could not replace the Black Sea route,” Nagy said in a meeting with his Turkish counterpart, İbrahim Yumaklı.
On behalf of his colleagues in Romania, Bulgaria, Poland and Slovakia, Nagy noted that he acted in the interests of European countries. Otherwise, Nagy believes, the European grain market could be paralyzed by cheap grain supplies from Ukraine.
