A cooperation agreement was signed between German Gref, President and Chairman of the Board of Sberbank, and Vladimir Komlev, General Manager of the Mir payment system. According to the press service of the bank, the document was sent to St. Signed at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
The parties agreed on joint cooperation with regional authorities within the framework of Resident Card projects in the regions of Russia.
“In partnership with NSPK, we are creating a convenient and necessary product, the Resident Card. This is a bank card to which various social services that are important for the regions of Russia are attached. Now, in different regions of our country, our customers will be able to receive the social services they need as well as financial services.”
Another area of cooperation in regional projects will be the development of cashless payment for travel and luggage in public transport, based on the transport processing platform NSPK.
“At the moment, 30 projects of the region’s Resident Cards are working simultaneously in Russia. All of them differ in structure, service set, technological equipment and number of partners. “Incorporating our transport processing platform into public transport and Resident Card projects in Russia will make them even more useful and in demand among residents of different regions of our country.”
