The National Bank of Ukraine has obliged all commercial banks to report payments made by the population using cards, the amounts spent will not play a role. Reported by “Strana.ua”.
The information appeared in the media after reviewing the regulator’s internal document.
This change takes effect on Monday, June 5th.
It is assumed that the Central Bank will need to transfer data on three types of card transactions. We are talking about transferring money between individuals, replenishing or withdrawing cash at the box office and ATMs, as well as payment over the network.
At the same time, the third point, Internet payments, the Ukrainian regulator requires the display of detailed information. Therefore, it will be necessary to send data not only about the Ukrainian payer, but also about the recipient of the funds.
Currently, the Central Bank does not explain the purpose and meaning of collecting this data from Ukrainian banking customers.
Formerly National Bank of Ukraine accused Postal services of Poland and Slovakia in financial violations.
