SberTech, a subsidiary of Sber, has migrated X5 Group to the Sber Process Mining platform to analyze and improve the efficiency of processes, the bank’s press service reported.
X5 Group’s internal audit division uses a platform for intelligent analysis of business processes’ compliance with established standards and testing of control procedures.
To kick off the migration project, the Sber team immediately connected X5 Group users to the cloud demo version of the Sber Process Mining platform. In just a month and a half, internal auditors implemented basic control procedures on the new platform.
“We are proud of our cooperation with the X5 Group. This is a great example of synergy that allows us to jointly solve the ambitious task of changing a global market leader’s solution. Taras Skvortsov, Vice President and Director of Sberbank Finance, the deep expertise and high-quality feedback from our colleagues has enabled us to bring the Sber Process Mining platform to the level of best practices in the world.
The move to the platform has allowed internal auditors to continue testing controls over large amounts of data on a regular basis. Sber Process Mining helps to find deviations and violations faster, including those that cannot be detected by traditional methods.
“We are actively using Process Mining in testing control procedures and the company is confident in expanding the scope of this technology. X5 Group Internal Audit Director Ivan Vorona said, “The transition from the tools of a recognized world leader to a local solution is not easy, it is an important step for the uninterrupted operation of our division” said.
Sber Process Mining cannot be used only for internal audit procedures. The tool allows you to optimize all processes that leave a digital trace in information systems.
