Protocols on the amendment of the intergovernmental agreement were signed by the Minister of Energy of Russia Nikolai Shulginov and the Minister of Energy of Belarus Viktor Karankevich.
Noting the potential for stable development and high cooperation between the two countries in all areas of the energy sector, Shulginov noted that the gas industry remains the “flagship of cooperation” between Moscow and Minsk.
“The Russian side continues to fully fulfill its obligations to supply energy resources and relevant programs are being implemented to create unified markets,” he said.
