Only 35% of companies in the Russian Federation allow Russians who have left the country to keep their former workplaces. At the same time, 36% of Russian companies prohibit their employees from working abroad, informs The newspaper Argumenty i Fakty cites the results of a study by analysts from the Ventra HR holding.

At the same time, 22% of Russian companies stated that providing remote work from abroad should be subject to a “special situation”. The article notes that the other 7% of firms found it difficult to respond.

The material concludes that “in 36% of companies surveyed, it is impossible to work remotely outside of Russia, 35% of organizations behave normally to this practice, the main thing for them is the competence of the employee.”

May 18, Deputy Head of the Ministry of Finance (MinFin) Aleksey Sazanov declarationthat the personal income tax rate will be 13-15% for remote workers working under an employment contract or civil law contract (GPC). This corridor will not be dependent on tax residency.
