Golikova: The minimum wage will rise faster in the coming years

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova said at the extended meeting of the executive board of the Russian Ministry of Labor that the minimum wage (minimum wage) will increase faster in the coming years. TASS.

“We made such a decision that was supported by both the President and the Prime Minister, the decision to increase the minimum wage faster in all subsequent years,” he said.

Also, according to him, a register of citizens in need will be created this year, the launch is scheduled for early 2024. Golikova noted that the deadlines for the fulfillment of this task have already been postponed, because for the registry to work, other institutions must be created.

He said that by the end of 2022, the poverty rate has increased in four regions of Russia – Khakassia, Ingushetia, Adygea and Tyva.

Moreover, according to the Deputy Prime Minister, nine regions did not reach the target indicator set by them –
Republics of Khakassia, Ingushetia, Karachay-Cherkessia, Adygea, Kalmykia, North Ossetia-Alanya, Komi, Nenets Autonomous Okrug and Orenburg Region.

Golikov in April statedthat some Russian medical establishments in some cases publish vacancies with doctor’s salaries below the minimum wage, declaring this situation unacceptable.
