The Government of the Russian Federation expands IT companies’ access to preferential loans

The Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Mishustin, signed a government decree under which all accredited IT companies will have access to preferential loans at rates of up to 3% per year. In this respect writer newspaper “Kommersant”, which refers to the document.

As stated in the publication, credit is given for digital transformation projects based on Russian solutions. The subsidized rate of such loans (up to 10 billion rubles) is 1-5% per year for accredited IT companies – no more than 3%.

In addition, the innovation will allow market participants to reimburse past expenses and pay bonuses to employees.

According to the Ministry of Digital Development, there are currently 22.3 thousand organizations in the registry of accredited IT companies, and more than half of them do not enjoy the benefits.
