Alexei Moiseev, Deputy Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation said In an interview with Izvestia, both individuals and legal entities in Russia can purchase small state-owned objects through the market. The Deputy Minister stated that the related initiative will be implemented by the end of the year.

“By the end of this year, the Federal Property Management Agency should fully carry out all the work on inspection and digitization, create a marketplace where people can buy what they need,” said Moiseev.

According to the deputy head of the Ministry of Finance, anyone can become a buyer of objects, both legal entities and individuals. First, you will need to select the object of interest in the search engine. In order to buy the selected object, you will have to click on the “I want to buy” option in the market. An auction then takes place if there are references to the object.

“If not, the applicant buys the object at an estimated cost and concludes an agreement in the same place on the market, through his personal account, formalizes ownership,” Moiseev said.

According to the deputy minister, the department is currently working on digitization, reconciliation of records, cadastralization and determination of the target functions of objects. According to Moiseev, they should not be idle, and if someone needs an object, it should be “sold”.
