Japan plans to purchase equipment for substations for the Ukrainian side, amounting to about $40 million. reported on the Telegram channel of the national energy company Ukrenergo.
“As part of the grant agreement between the government of Ukraine and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), about $40 million worth of equipment for substations will be purchased and transferred to Ukrenergo,” the publication said.
According to Ukrenergo, the first deliveries will be made in the second half of this year and will last until 2025. At the same time, the delivery time will depend on the equipment manufacturing conditions.
