“There is a presidential decree, it clearly says what needs to be done. Everything that had to be done in the decree was done. If the President takes other decisions on this and gives other instructions accordingly, they will be implemented in the same way, ”said Moiseev.
Earlier, Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of Russia, told reporters during a briefing that the decision to transfer the assets of foreign companies under the interim administration of the Federal Property Management Agency depends on certain circumstances.
On April 25, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on retaliatory measures for the confiscation of Russian assets abroad. The decree approved a list of foreign assets transferred to the interim administration of the Federal Property Management Agency. Among other things, it included 98.23% of Fortum owned by the Finnish concern Fortum and 83.73% of the shares owned by Fortum Holding BV.
