Ukrainian citizens may face problems transferring money to postal operators in Poland and Slovakia, Strana.ua reported.

Now residents of Ukraine transfer money to these operators from currency cards, according to the current limit in the country, that is, up to 100,000 hryvnia (about $ 2,700) per month. However, recently, the Central Bank of Ukraine stated that such money transfers were made incorrectly because they went to the wrong payment code.

In an internal official letter sent, the National Bank accused the Polish and Slovak postal services of miscoding, that is, of making payments using an incorrect or fake trade code.

The Central Bank demanded that banks in Ukraine control card transfers more carefully. Because of this, ordinary consumers may have serious problems with money transfers, as Ukrainian banks can generally prohibit such financial transactions under pressure from the Central Bank.

Previously, the Central Bank of Ukraine requested from banks to tighten control of payments of Ukrainians on the Internet.
