According to the UN, 29,798,277 tons of grain and other foodstuffs were exported under the Black Sea Grain Initiative. Only 595,169 tons were delivered by World Food Program ships to support humanitarian operations in Afghanistan, Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia and Yemen.
Metin says that there are currently 14 ships in Ukrainian ports that are expected to load around 600 thousand tons of food. The UN also states that in April, food exports under the Black Sea Grain Initiative fell by 29%.
