Russia is working to sign an agreement on visa-free entry with a number of Persian Gulf countries. This was expressed by the Russian Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov in his speech at the Annual Investment Forum (Annual Investment Meeting, AIM) in Abu Dhabi, Wrote agency TASS.
“Today, the Middle East countries are Russia’s key partners in the field of tourism. <…> It is planned to reach an agreement with Iran on visa-free group tourist trips,” he said.
According to the Minister of Economic Development, the Russian side is also considering the possibility of signing an agreement on a visa-free regime with Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman and Saudi Arabia.
