Belyaev reminded a person who works at the place of income in Russia that such a tax is levied. That is, the employer of this person transfers personal income tax to the budget. The rate is 13% for all employees and 15% for those who receive more than 5 million rubles.

“If these are our Russians, but they work remotely at a foreign company, and they are employees of the company they work for. I wouldn’t say that this is a legally foolproof move to impose such an increased tax on them here in Russia for earning income abroad, ”said Belyaev.
