According to the results of March this year, the export volume of Russian oil delivered by sea has reached its maximum level since April 2020, approaching 8.1 million barrels per day. During the same period, delivery volumes of Russian petroleum products also increased. According to the results of March this year, this figure increased by 450 thousand barrels per day compared to February and reached the level of 3.1 million barrels.
“The physical volume of Russia’s oil exports in March 2023 reached its highest level since April 2020 due to increased shipments of petroleum products. Export revenues increased by $1 billion compared to February to $12.7 billion, while overseas deliveries from Russia increased by 0.6 million barrels per day (v/d) to 8.1 million barrels per day. Of these, the supply of petroleum products increased by 450,000 barrels per day compared to the previous month and reached 3.1 million barrels per day.
On April 13, Bloomberg cited statistics from analysts at Vortexa Ltd. reportedreported last week that the volume of oil transported by sea by tankers reached 1.27 billion barrels, the highest level since 2020. This figure has increased by 230 million barrels since August last year.
