World Bank announces $200 million grant to restore Ukraine’s energy sector, reports TASS.
“Today the World Bank announced a $200 million grant for the project to restore Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. “Additional funding of up to $300 million is expected from partners in the form of grants and other forms of contribution,” the World Bank said in a statement.
The allocated funds need to be spent on the “purchase of critical equipment for urgent repair of infrastructure.” Also, money should be spent on mobile heating boilers.
