Energocom JSC signed an EFET framework agreement with Greek gas operator DEPA in Athens. The signing of the document took place during the visit of Moldovan Energy Minister Victor Parlikov and the company’s Acting Director Victor Binzari to Greece.
According to Binzar, Greece is the main hotspot for affordable energy sources. There is also one liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal in the country and the second will be operational by the end of 2023. Moreover, these terminals will receive fuel from the East, the USA and Africa.
Parlikov also pointed out that the agreement signed by Greece on strengthening the role of underground fuel storage facilities in Ukraine in supplying fuel to Europe during the heating period is important.
