German Economy Minister Robert Habek said he wanted to strengthen customs control as anti-Russian sanctions were overcome. He told the newspaper about the situation. Berliner Morgenpost.
According to the minister, it is impossible to allow situations in which sanctions against the Russian Federation are bypassed, so the issue needs to be resolved more drastically and decisively. He cited Denmark as an example.
“Danish Customs analyzes trade flows and customs data very carefully for details. If they are found – for example, a large number of certain goods that were previously sent to Russia are now suddenly sent to another third country in almost the same quantity – this is a reason for verification, ”Habek explained.
formerly TASS reported28% of companies in Russia were able to use the sanctions imposed by Western countries to create new opportunities.
