American company PepsiCo has updated its Pepsi soda logo for the first time in 15 years. Wrote USA newspaper today.

The newly designed beverage will go on sale in the United States and Canada this fall, with global sales starting next year.

The new logo features the word PEPSI in deep black. The inscription is on a wavy white stripe in the center of the circle, with a red stripe at the top and a blue stripe at the bottom.

The new trademark is the same as used in the second half of the 20th century, but with paler shades of red and blue that are available. According to PepsiCo chief designer Mauro Porcini, the logo has been changed to give it more “energy, confidence and courage.”
