“As part of the pilot project, cargo courier delivery of furniture, tools and sanitary ware to residents of the Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kaluga, Tula and Ryazan regions became possible,” the retailer said.
More than 50 retailers are participating in the experiment. With delivery, it will be possible to order more than two thousand large-sized goods, such as plumbing, furniture, industrial appliances. Further expansion of the delivery area is planned.
The company noted that in 2022, sales of oversized goods, particularly plumbing fixtures, more than quadrupled. Platform users can order these products with installation and connection.
