Petr Gusyatnikov, Senior Managing Partner of PG Partners, during a meeting with the agency “Hitting the Primer” He noted that new rules regarding banknotes and coins will emerge in Russia.

The lawyer said that from April 1, Russian banks will stop issuing dirty notes and coins if their luminosity is reduced by more than six percent due to damage.

According to him, Russians will be able to bring such notes and coins to banks, but they will no longer be able to re-issue them to customers.

At the same time, the delivery of banknotes and coins, whose brightness has decreased by 8 percent due to pollution, was previously prohibited.

Gusyatnikov added that such measures will help in the fight against dubious and bankrupt notes and coins.
