Reuters: Turkish authorities circulated a list of goods that are prohibited from exporting to Russia 21:24

Çetin Tekdelioğlu, President of the Istanbul Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Metals Exporters’ Association, said: ReutersHe said that the Turkish authorities circulated among companies a list of goods whose export to the Russian Federation is prohibited.

According to him, the ban took effect on March 1. It was confirmed by two other sources of the agency.

According to the representative of the European Union, the EU received a verbal guarantee from Turkey that from the beginning of March, goods subject to export control measures from Europe, the USA or the UK will not be sent to Russia.

Earlier, it was reported that Russian companies have become more active in recent weeks. to ask Kazakh partners to help them circumvent Western sanctions and import essential goods. Two sources attributed this to Turkey’s plans to cut off the transit of sanctioned goods. As Reuters noted, Russia is looking for ways to import equipment and goods due to the sanctions imposed on it.
