“The target of reaching the $200 billion trade turnover set by the two leaders (Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping – socialbites.ca) will be achieved in 2023, not in 2024 as planned,” Ushakov said.

He also added that at present, China is Russia’s largest foreign trade partner. China has strengthened its status against the backdrop of extensive international sanctions against the Russian Federation.
