The Ministry of Industry and Trade approved the updated list of goods allowed for parallel import into Russia. Related order published on the official Internet portal of legal information.

“A number of brands of motor oils (Shell Helix, Rimula), household appliances (Zanussi, Wahl), cosmetics and perfumes (Kerastase, Yves Saint Laurent) have been added to the list,” the ministry said.

The ministry added that the list is also replenished with spare parts for agricultural and marine equipment (Caterpillar, Bauer Kompressoren). Also on the list are toy and children’s product brands such as Hasbro, Logitech, Nintendo. In addition, 12 more car brands were added to the list.

At the end of January, Kommersant, citing market sources, WroteHe said customs payments for home appliances and electronics imports to Russia decreased by 40% last year due to the departure of Western suppliers and an increase in the number of vendors.

Prior to this, the Ministry of Industry and Trade evaluated the domestic ICL firm’s proposal to exclude foreign brands, which are computer equipment manufacturers, from parallel imports. One such attempt was made by Yevgeny Stepanov, general manager of Iceel Techno LLC (manufacturer of ICL, computers, monitors, etc.), he summarized the relevant proposal in a letter to the head of the Ministry of Digital Development, Maksut Shadayev. In this message, Stepanov specifically recommended banning parallel imports of consumer equipment from Acer, Asus, Dell, Inspur, HP, HPE, MSI, Lenovo and Fujitsu.
