Russian billionaire Sergey Grishin, former partner of RosEvroBank, has died at the age of 56. It has been reported telegraph channel Basis.

According to him, about a month ago, the businessman had a cerebral vascular accident and was hospitalized and died on March 6.

Sergey Grishin was born on June 21, 1966 in Moscow. In 1987, the future billionaire graduated from the Moscow Institute of Electronic Technology. He started his entrepreneurial activity by getting a physics degree.

In 1994, together with his partners Andrey and Dmitry Suzdaltsev, he bought Lubyanka Bank. Later its name was changed to RosEvroBank. With them, Grishin also founded several companies engaged in, among other things, development and logistics.

Grishin is best known for selling his Santa Barbara mansion to Britain’s Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, for $15 million, “almost crashing the Russian Federation’s financial system in the ’90s”.
