State Duma (DG) deputies from the New People party proposed to make it mandatory that all bills be presented with mandatory information on their impact on Russian business. Demin announced such an initiative of the party, which has a high share of tax collection in the federal budget, from representatives of small businesses. New invoices should not lead to a deterioration in the financial situation of Russian entrepreneurs. In particular, laws must determine potential business costs as a result of the enactment of a particular law.
“Now, when the bills are passed, they do not specify what costs entrepreneurs can incur and how many people might lose their jobs. This is fundamentally wrong. In 2022, the volume of all taxes collected from small businesses exceeded 5 trillion rubles. This is 10 percent of the state budget. To endanger their existence is to cut the branch on which you are sitting,” concluded the deputy.
