Biden was in Warsaw from February 20-22, 2023. As Obaitek recalls, in 2015, Poland signed a contract with the Russian company Tatneft, which will expire in 2024. Russia stopped deliveries under this agreement at the end of February this year.

At the same time, suppliers of alternative fuels can make up for lost volumes of Russian oil. Obaitek listed the North Sea, West Africa, and Mexico and the Persian Gulf as the most promising regions for imports.
