Putin signs new anti-crisis tax support measures law

Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law on anti-crisis tax measures in the face of sanctions for individuals and legal entities. Document published on the official portal of legal information.

Thus, the law exempts personal income tax in the form of material benefits received from 2021 to 2023, as well as income from deposits in Russian banks.

The document also makes it possible to grant the right to apply the declaration-based VAT refund procedure to all taxpayers who are not in the process of restructuring and for whom bankruptcy proceedings have not been filed.

Previously reportedHe said the government is preparing measures to support the Russian economy in the face of sanctions, allowing the program to be adjusted to encourage the development of design documentation by Russian enterprises. Measures to expand support for small and medium-sized enterprises through offset agreements were also considered.
