India does not want to discuss the sanctions against Russia in any way at the G20 meeting, as it actually harms the global economy. In this respect informs Reuters cites six senior Indian government officials.
“The current sanctions against Russia have negatively affected the world. New Delhi is not interested in discussing or supporting additional restrictive measures,” one of the Indian officials said.
The publication noted that India does not want to discuss anti-Russian sanctions while Russia heads the club. At the same time, one of the agency’s sources added that sanctions should not be the main topic of the G20, as previous meetings were used to discuss economic growth.
