Rada deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak issued a resolution that envisages imposing sanctions on all financial institutions in Russia for 50 years. He posted a photo of the document on his Telegram channel.
Sanctions will be imposed on Russian banks and the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, as well as non-bank credit institutions, payment system operators, stock market participants, investors, insurance companies and other institutions that provide financial services, located and registered in Russia. Earlier, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky presented to the Verkhovna Rada a draft resolution approving the decision of the country’s Security Council on sanctions.
The document was sent for consideration by parliament’s profile committee.
Formerly Politico newspaper WroteHe said the EU could be affected by the next 10th package of sanctions against Russia, Alfa-Bank and three Russian banks.
