Deputy Prime Minister Manturov admits “increasing” demand for Russian industrial robots

Denis Manturov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Minister of Industry and Trade, allowed the demand for Russian industrial robots to increase. Manturov explained that the increase in demand for Russian high-tech equipment is possible as part of the implementation of the order of Russian President Vladimir Putin on tax incentives for buyers of such equipment. Manutrov’s words transmits agency RIA Novosti. Putin announced his instructions in a speech to the Federal Assembly on February 21.

Manturov suggested that during the implementation of the President’s proposal, domestic enterprises will begin to more actively purchase Russian metalworking equipment or industrial robots. This will have a positive impact on capacity upgrade projects and will encourage engineering companies to place more orders for manufacturing solutions.

As socialbites.ca previously reported, Putin instructed Expand tax incentives for the purchase of Russian high-tech equipment by companies. The President announced that from 2023, Russian companies will be able to reduce their income tax payments if they purchase advanced domestic IT solutions and products using artificial intelligence. At the same time, these costs are taken into account with an increased coefficient of 1.5 times the actual costs. The President instructed to expand these advantages to domestic high-tech equipment buyers. The list of such equipment and the procedure for granting assistance should be developed by the Council of Ministers.
