In Ukraine, 170 wagons loaded with mineral fertilizers from Uralkali and Belaruskali were arrested. This was reported on Telegram by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU).

According to the ministry, the arrest was given to a wholesale batch of mineral fertilizers of Russian and Belarusian production.

“The total amount of property seized for about 100 million hryvnia ($2.7 million) was 11.8 thousand tons, the cargo belonged to two foreign companies: Uralkali and Belaruskali,” the statement said.

As stated in the SBU, mineral fertilizers were found in 170 wagons located in Nikolaev on the territory of the Naval Specialized Port, which is part of the business structure of the Ukrainian oligarch Dmitry Firtash.

The ministry stated that the railway containers containing these foreign products arrived in Ukraine before February 24 and are in transit mode. Within the framework of criminal prosecutions under the tax evasion article, the SBU initiated the transfer of seized property to the management of the National Agency for the Detection, Search and Management of Assets from Corruption and Other Crimes (ARMA).
