On February 2, the European Union decided to allocate another 500 million Euros in military aid to Ukraine. This is stated in the statement of the European Council, reports TASS.
On the eve of the EU-Ukraine summit, the Council adopted relief measures within the framework of the European Peace Fund, which provides further military support to the Ukrainian army.
“They consist of a seventh package worth 500m euros and a new 45m euro aid measure to support the efforts of the EU Military Assistance Mission,” the document says.

On February 3, the EU-Ukraine summit will be held in Kiev. The event will focus on Ukraine’s EU accession process, aid to Kiev and sanctions pressure on Russia, among other issues.
