The head of the Federal Air Transport Agency, Alexander Neradko, said that Western sanctions, including a ban on the supply of aircraft and components to them, were aimed at destroying aviation in Russia, but this did not happen. Neradko shared his opinion in an interview red blood cell.
He noted that “it is not possible” to destroy Russian aviation.
“Everyone in charge of aviation in our country made timely and correct decisions for the simple reason that in response to the actions of those involved in the sanctions,” Neradko said.
“It is impossible to stop international cooperation because of the decision of some states that impose sanctions on domestic civil aviation,” he said.
According to Neradko, Moscow interacts with aviation authorities of friendly countries, organizations in the field of international aviation, as well as having informal contacts with partners from countries that impose sanctions.
